It was almost time to leave town. Her mother had to get back to work. It was close to midnight, a cold and misty night... One of the most unusual. It was time to leave. As they were headed downtown past Elina Street, Diana spotted her temptation, her addiction. Diana was in constant need of a candy apple.
The sweet scent of a sweet apple dipped into a luxurious caramel mix drove her crazy. Crazy to the point of murder. She left her mother's caring hand and ran into the store to steal this delectable item. Diana pushing and pulling for this sweet treat led to a tug-of-war. Diana pushed her loving mother onto the street where that same second, a truck hit her. She was gone, just like the candy apple.
