I watched him walk away, and I wish I have the nerve to grab him, kiss the daylights out of him, and never let him go, but I couldn't. I could still feel David's hands wrapped around me, feel him violating every inch of my body, and I couldn't... I couldn't touch Daryl right now, without thinking of him. So... I watched him walk away, and I pulled Dale against me, and tried to listen for any sign of success.

"What're you doin?" One of the men asked, and I heard Daryl stop walking, and it took him a minute to answer.

"Boss said to go outside and re-spike a walker out there, said it was gettin' loose." Daryl grumbled, and I could hear the men shifting around, and I prayed they didn't have walkies to confirm it.

"Which boss?"

"Dwight." Daryl grunted, and the men didn't say anything for a minute.

"Right... well... you got ten minutes. You not back by then we'll come looking for you, and if you aren't bit, we'll kill ya." The man grunted, and I heard the door open, footsteps and then the door closed and the men started talking to each other about a girl they liked. I glanced down at Dale, and he was already staring up at me, a reassuring smile on his face.

"Daddy's got it Mommy." He whispered, and I nodded, stroking his dark hair back away from his face.

"You're right baby. Your dad's got this." I mumbled, and continued to run my fingers through his hair, but my focus was elsewhere. I was scanning the hallways with my eyes, trying to listen for approaching footsteps, or for anything from Daryl, but it was silent for a really long time.

Suddenly though, I heard a soft knock and I jerked my head to peek around the corner. Daryl was knocking on the door, I could see part of his face through the small glass window, and then men opened up the door easily, the one on my left pulling it open towards, him, and the one on my right looking him over.

"No bites?"

"Yeah. I'm good." Before they could say anything else, Daryl body checked, the door, slamming it into the man holding it, and knocking him to the floor. While he was down, he pulled out a large tool, it was silver, and looked kind of like a big wrench, but I didn't get to see much of it before he cracked it across the other guy's face, and he went down like a sack of potatoes. He turned to the other guy who had been hit by the door and still struggling to get up, and gave him a swift punch with the hand holding the wrench thing, and he was out too.

He looked up, and his shiny blue eyes met my green, and I couldn't help the smile that pulled up the tight skin of my face.

"Let's go love." He said softly, holding out his hand, and I rushed towards him, pulling Dale gently after me, and as soon as I could I grabbed his hand.

"Let's go before someone sees. There's a car ready to go, I wanted to make sure it was set to go before I knocked them out, sorry it took so long, but I couldn't start it so it took a bit longer. Anyway, hop in." He said roughly, shooing me to the passenger side of the small car, and I nodded, pulling the door open and hopping in. I turned to grab Dale, but he was already in Daryl's arms, and he was strapping him into the back seat.

"Right. Let's go." Daryl said, pulling away from Dale, shutting his door, then mine, and running around the front of the car. He stopped in front of the garage door, and gestured for me to start up the car. I twisted the keys that were already in the ignition, and after a moment of sputtering, it roared to life, Daryl jerked up the garage door, practically flew to the driver's seat, and took off.

The car reached a good speed pretty quickly, which was good when I saw where he was directing the car. Right towards the fence with walkers staked to it.

"Daryl, what are you doing?" I hissed, and he glanced at me.

"Leaving a distraction for them to clean up. Hold on tight." He whispered, and I could hear a bit of nerves in his voice, but I nodded, and turned to look at Dale.

"Baby, hold on to the seat really tight okay? Don't let go." I said sternly, and he nodded, and grabbed hold of the fabric seat beneath his butt, and I watched his knuckles turn white before I turned back around. I grabbed the 'oh shit' handle, and put my left hand on the dashboard, ready to go.

Daryl glanced at me, and grabbed my hand in his, resting them on the dashboard together, and a second later, we hit the fence at a good sixty-miles an hour, and I watched as zombified body parts flew through the air, blood coated the windshield, and we kept right on going out into the field of grass, and towards Oceanside.

A/N: I'm honestly not even sorry that I didn't make it harder for them. They've had it plenty hard in my opinion, time to make some shit easy!

Anyway, I hope y'all liked it! And if you are bored, waiting for the next chapter, feel free to check out my other books that I have posted (none of them are even close to being done, or at the level I want them to be before I really start working on them) but they are my next project after this and I'd love to see which ones you guys like!
