*No Time Like The Present*

Carla's P.O.V

"I can't believe he embarrassed me like that" Carla said to Tiffany while slamming her locker shut. "And in front of the whole class, nice touch Chase, Jack ass" Tiffany Said while shaking her head. Tiffany was my best friend since first grade we did everything together, and she was royally pissed at Chase for embarrassing me in class today.

"Well I'm definitely going to make him pay for his dim witted actions this morning he will be begging for forgiveness before lunch" I said while turning to Tiff with a huge smirk on my face as we begin to walk to are next class, which we only have two classes together out of six periods, that sucks.

~Chase P.O.V~

The last bell had just sounded signaling last period was over so I grabbed my Things off the desk and headed to my locker. I was so absorbed in my thoughts that I didn't realize Ty was standing there staring at me, "how long you been standing there?" I asked him he said "long enough to know you're not on your shit." Well he was right about that, closing the locker behind me as I walk towards the parking lot to wait on Carla. Ty started to babble about something as we walked to my car

"Hello dude you alright? I asked you if you and Carla wanted to go up to the lake tonight with me and Liv."

"I don't think so Ty I got way to much on my mind to party." I said, "besides I don't think a romantic getaway is the best idea when you're trying to breakup with someone." Ty looked wide eyed at me saying " Damn man for real, you gone breakup with her?"

"Yup" I said, "Damn didn't see that one coming" Ty said while shaking his head.  " yeah well Carla not gone see it coming neither," I said while putting my hands over my face trying to get a hold of the situation.

Just then I hear Liv call out "hey you ready baby?" Ty held up his hand signaling to give him a minute, looking back at me "see you later" Ty said and got into the car with Liv an peeled out of the parking lot.

The clouds began to form as thunder rumbled in the sky and drops of rain started to flow, and there was still no sign of Carla, I glanced down at my watch and noticed it was a quarter til 4, "what the Hell is she doing" I said aloud so I grabbed my cell phone from my pocket to call Carla, she didn't pick up so I tried calling again just then the rain went from a drizzle to a full blown down pour, so I hopped in my jeep and took off towards home a couple of miles down the road I see a car on the side of the road while someone is looking under the hood, as I get closer I noticed that it was none other than the girl next door so I pull over this has got to be FATE!!!
