Bonnie was protecting you. To protect you, she had to kill Klaus, even if that meant killing some vampires. To make it worse, Klaus knew, and was trying to kill her. She stood in the forest, waiting for him to come out. Of course she knew he wouldnt be too far from her. It only took a few minutes for him to show up.
