man its been awhile. sorry guys. haven't been in the moos to write in awhile.

anywayssss I know I keep saying this but I will try my best to update more often. but schools starting soon. and ive been working alotttt. btw major time skip

3RD person P.O.V.

the 4th great war was staring, those that were not shinobi were getting as far as possible from the area. families, friends saying goodbye to the ninja in their families.

the great nations having most of their genin, and chunin with their citizens just incase. everyone was stressed, war had already begin.

even from miles and miles away the sound of fighting could be heard.

Naruto, the young boy that now many looked up to was in a panic. along with the other rookies.

"what should we do!" sakura shouts as she ducks her head down avoiding getting dirt and rocks to her face.

"I don't know..." Naruto said so quietly that most didn't hear him

Shikamaru sighed.

"sakura, Many are going to injuried, so you will need to help as much you can. Naruto, Sai, Kiba, and others will fight and look out. my team will gather as many injuried back. we will wait for news..." shikamaru trailed off as he saw Naruto take off.

"that idiot" shikamaru grumbled.

Naruto's P.O.V.

as I sat there feeling weak, I saw one of those beams aiming towards me.

'this is it...' I think before I see someone race infront of me

"hinata" I say as loudly as I can.

I shut my eyes, not wanting to see what would come of her.

suddenly everything becomes silent. I open my eyes only to see darkness.

"get him up, and to the meds. Hinata. Neji you stay with me and help" a voice says as I see light again

"one-chan..." I say

"you brat.... hinata get going" she orders

"h-hai" hinata says nodding as she grabs me

"no I can still fight.." I try to stand on my own.

"no, listen to me. go get healed rest a bit then maybe come back but for now you are putting us all in danger" she tells me sternly.

I sigh and nod, letting hinata support me as we head to the closet med tents.

I look back and see neji and RIn take down one of the things.

Rinmaru's P.O.V.

"mind filling me in there" I ask

"hai nara-San" he answers before explaining everything

"ok, lets find a group to join up with, itll be safer" I tell him

he activates his eyes "to the west about a mile away I can see aa group of about 5" he informs me

"lets go" I tell him

as we make out way there we take down enemy ninja. but I couldn't stop worrying for my boys.

Flashback

i heard of what was going on, and i knew i had to go aid. it had been 7 months since i had 'disappeared'

i didn't tell anyone, not gaara, not shika, not Naruto.

no one at all.

i had settled down, planning to stay away from the ninja world till my boys were old enough, but i knew i couldn't

"Mori i ask that you watch them for me... take care of them for while i go..." i ask my new friend

"but... where will you go?" she asks

"to help my village, my friends, and my family" i tell her

she knew who i was. but she didn't care.

"make it back.... don't leave these little brats alone in this cruel world" she tells me

i nod and sigh "in case i don't... take them to the leaf ask for Shikamaru nara. be safe" i tell her

"you too.." she says before i leave in a sprint.

mori and i had planned to head as far away from the as possible, but i just knew that i had to help.

and in a few hours time i was there at the battle field.

it was a mess.

so many ninja laying there dead or almost dead.

i look around and spot a familiar blonde head.

'Naruto...' i think till see whats going to happen.

'NARUTO' i think louder

i race there.

i spot two ninja step in front of him, first the girl than a male steps in front of her.

'idiots' i think as i make my new shadow shield.

i hear their gasps of confusion.

flashback end

hours past, and it was time for the team i was with to take a break.

Neji had left earlier. so it was me with a few sand shinobi.

we got back to a camp, each one them checking in, i wasn't sure what to do.

"Nara-san???' i heard a girls voice speak from behind me.

"ah Sakura. good to see you" i tell her

"you as well, but i thought you were dead" she tells me

i narrow my eyes "why would you think that?" i ask

"ah sorry that was rude of me, its just that you disappeared. no ones seen or heard from you in months.

i nod.

"you should rest, i can tell you were in the field" she tells me pointing to a tent

"goodnight" i tell her.

she waves and continues on her way.

laying down i close my eys and drift to sleep
