Ch.3

A kick to the closet door almost made you yelp loud , covering your mouth as the door was pushed open

"there you are" His figure towered you.
his white mask visible by the moonlight, your eyes trail over to his friend behind him, the only thing that caught your attention was the red eyes and red frown

"wanna join the fun now ? It's a simple game" he roughly pulled your face towards him inches away from the mask , his brown eyes looking deep into your soul

"g-game ?" You strutted

"a little game of tag" he darkly chuckles

"I'll give you a heads up since you're special...you've got 10 seconds" he stood up and took a few steps back

"10...9...8...." your eyes widened when he started counting, he was serious!
You didn't wait and dashed out of the room with all you've got.

Running into the emergency staircase passing bodies and piles of blood staining almost everything

"shit where am I supposed to go !!" You tried pulling on the knobs of the offices but they were all locked !

You hands shot down to your pockets "the keys !!" You mumbled, you inserted the key in the closest room you saw ,the key clicked and you locked it behind you

"do I hide ?" You scanned the room quickly, unconsciously heading toward the window ,sliding it open

The cold breeze touched your bare skin sending shivers down your spine
"I must be losing my mind !" You sighed looking down, as you slowly slide a leg out
holding for dear life on the stone wall you tried your best to climb down

"shit this looks why easier in movies" you reached the second floor when you decided to give up on your dreams on being a wall climber
trying to open the window quietly you crawled inside

"oh god" you panted heavily, your knees growing weak touching the carpeted floor.

But you know you couldn't stay you had to get the hell out ! You slowly sneaked your head out of the room scanning the hallways to your right

A loud bang jerked your head the left ,the body of slim guy rolled down the stairs, you got back inside and hid behind the wooden door

"didn't think she'd go this far !" A dark laugh filled your ears as it grow closer while the faint sound of steps indicated otherwise, were they close or not you didn't know ?

Not wanting to risk it you waited a little before looking out of the room again

"it's too quiet, did they get everyone ? It can't be !!!" You mumbled skipping to the stairs talking a couple of steps down when you heard a loud thud

the door on the floor beneath you flew open

Your heart dropped "shit" you cussed panicking, trying to turn and run your feet slipped falling face down on the concrete stairs

you held your cheekbone as the warmth of the crimson liquid trailed down your cheek ,supporting your body with your forearm

"did you hear that ?" The deep distorted voice caught your attention

"move, you freak !" Some guy shoved you aside

"if that's not one of them....then" You held your beating heart tightly as you tried to pull yourself up using the handrail

"don't go that way !!" You almost yelled when he swings the emergency door open

"tag...you're it" a harsh swing of a crowbar came in contact with his head

"oh! There you are" he chuckled pulling the crowbar from the struggling guy's skull.

you immediately got up and went running down the stairs away from the bashing that was happening behind you ,the sound of his laughter and bones breaking faded as you finally reached the ground floor.

you didn't know how but somehow you ended up in front of the basketball court doors , trying your best to quietly open the doors, the scent of metal and alcohol filled your nostrils

"ugh" You scanned the room, neon lights still working, the fog machines are still running but no one was around , taking a few steps your feet came in contact with a puddle of something warm

Looking down only to be greeted by bodies on bodies of your classmates

"Oh no !!" your eyes tingled and your vision became blurry

"found you" his voice came from behind, the warmth of his sweaty body against the side of your neck and your back froze you in horror

One hand slowly touched your side while the other held a can of your F/D in it, you slowly turned to face him

"I'm impressed sunshine you're the last one standing.... you're not that bad after all, this is your reward" he chuckled low as tears slides down your cheeks

the cold can came in contact with your open wound , you winced at the pain "I know ,I know, you're scared" he chuckled pulling you close as tears slides down your cheeks

"...you did hold up pretty well" brushing your hair behind your ear he smirked to himself as all you saw what that haunting white mask with feminine features

"let's play a little more...what do you say ?" His grip on your tightens, his white mask rested on your forehead ,allowing you to sink into those deep dark brown abyss.
