Everyone was hell tired after dancing , so one by one everyone had dinner and went out. The main families were still in the hall. Kartik was busy in some work , while Naira was posing for pictures with her cousins.

Nmom- Beta chalo bahut daer ho gyi hai

N- Mom aap jao mai thodi daer mei aa jaungi

Ndad- Acha theek hai , but be careful

And then her parents left too.

Cousin- Naira chalo yaar bahut neend aa rhi hai

N- Kya yaar , puri life padi hai sone kae liye

Naira's POV
Please god , help karo meri , mujhe ek baar Kartik se baat karni hai , ha theek hai theek hai , I know mai bahut excited ho rhi hoon but please God cupid or God of love...please!!

Then actually they dragged her to the lift but then the lift got full so she has to wait up.

N(to herself)- Yes thank you, thank you now there is not a single family member.

She went to Kartik

K- Naira tum abhi tak gyi nhi

N- Huh...mai..oh actually woh lift full ho gyi thi so mai abhi wait kar rhi

K- Sab chale gaye??

N- Ha

Then there was an awkward silence

N- Ok Goodnight

K- Goodnight

He so wanted to hug her and give a kiss on her forehead.

Naira unwillingly turned away and started walking towards the lift.

K(to himself)- Ek baar mere dost ne kaha tha agar woh mujhse pyaar karti hai toh woh paltegi....Palat...Palat...Palat

And then Naira actually turned and waved a Bye to him.

Naira's POV
kartik ruk lo please...

K- Naira...Naira ruko

Naira happily stopped

K- Ruko mai bhi chalta hoon tumahre saath tumhe tumahre room taak chodne.... It's already too late.

Naira nodded

They both went into the lift. But then in the midway it stopped with a jerk and lights went out .

N(scared a little bit)- Yeh kya hoa

K- I think lift fas gyi hai...ruko let me call the reception

He called them and asked for help. They said it would take some time as it is late night.

Half an hour passed nothing happend. Kartik was standing still but Naira was having problem.

Kartik in the darkness heard some heavy breathing

K- Naira are u ok??

N(heavily breathing)- I'm having problem...I don't like close places..

K- Come here

He hugged Naira and rubbed her back. They both sat on the ground. They both were sweating due to the lack of air.

K- Naira bs thodi daer aur then hum bahar honge..

N(eyes closing)- I think I'm gooo...

Naira fainted

K- Naira! naira!,

Suddenly the lift started and the door finally opened. As it was late so there was no one to help them.

Kartik carried Naira to her parent's room. He rang the bell

Nmom- Kaun hai, arey Kartik tum , Naira!!,

Kartik came inside and laid Naira on the bed and then sprinkled some water. Her eyes opened but she was still numb.

Kartik took a deep breath seeing his Naira back to life.

Ndad- Thankyou beta isse yahan lane kae liye .

Then Kartik told them everything about what happend and then went to his room
