(This story idea is from one of Lilith's dreams she had and well she then gave me this story idea)
You were in your room drawing in your sketch book when Hikaru walks in
"Hey uncle Hikaru what's up?"
"Hey your dad went out to go and talk with your grandparents he'll be back soon."
"Ok." You say as you continue to draw
"What you drawing kid."
"You know stuff."
Hikaru takes your sketch book and looks at it as he holds it high enough so you can't reach it
"Give it back."
"Wow your good at drawings it looks so realistic."
"Ok you saw my drawings now give it back!" You say now standing on your back trying to reach for your sketch book
"Come and get it y/n."
"I'll tell on you."
"Ok fine here." Hikaru says handing it back and you smile and then lay back down on your stomach and continue drawing
"Hey uncle Hikaru?"
"Yeah kiddo?"
"Why does my dad always look sad when I ask about who my mom is?"
Hikaru stops for a few seconds then sighs
"Sometimes people just don't work out y/n your parents were in high school when they met and fell in love and well as they grew they just didn't work out." Hikaru says and you let out a sigh
*Yeah but still why would my own mother not want to even be around me* you think as Hikaru sits on your bed
"Look your dad loved your mother and he still loves her but they just had different ideas in life and goals they wanted."
"And let me guess I didn't fit my mother's goals." You say and Hikaru sighs
"Look she loves you just–"
"Just what?" You say and Hikaru sighs again
"It's all hard to explain your a kid."
"I'm 13."
"Your not even in high school yet your in middle school."
"So?"
"So just wait until your dad explains everything to you one day he will but once he thinks your ready."
"Whatever."
You just go back to drawing and Hikaru walks out
*I feel like I'll never know who my mother is*

"Mom, dad look y/n is my daughter and I'm raising her how I want to stay out of it."
"No she's our granddaughter." My mother says and I sigh
"Yeah well she's my daughter and I'm not letting you both try and change how she is or take her from me."
"Your raising her alone Kaoru."
"No I have Hikaru he's been helping me out for years so I have help."
"Kaoru we just want to help you." My dad says and I frown
"I don't want your guys help I'm perfect without it since all you both do is question my parenting which it's fine nothing is wrong with how I parent my daughter." I say obviously annoyed at my parents
"Kaoru–"
"I'm not a kid anymore I'm an adult so leave me and my daughter alone." I say as I walk out the front door
*I love my daughter more then anything and I wish my parents would just leave me to be a dad to my daughter on my own*
