Carter went to work the next day tired cause she didn't get any sleep as the phone call had scared her and she still has no clue who the heck Maxwell is, and honestly she didn't wanna find out.
The guy came into the restaurant but Carter didn't think much of it cause she doesn't know he's the guy who called her. Carter went home that night and called her mom to see if her mom could help her figure out who this Maxwell guy was, unfortunately her mother had no clue either. So once again Carter didn't get much sleep, which she really could use as she's going to need all her strength to survive.
