Hayes Pov (School)

My friends and I laughed so hard as Mrs. Bocay fell off her chair.

"HAYES GRIER DETENTION!" She screams getting off the floor

I chuckle as she gets off the floor looking really pissed

She opens her mouth to say something but she was cut off by the phone.

"Just wait till I'm off the phone" she growls going to the phone

"Hello?" she says turning on her fakest sweet tone.

"Hayes Grier? Oh okay" she says hanging up

"What?" I ask

"Your needed in the office but it's not a first time your going to the office" she scoffs

"Not your first time" I mock walking towards the door glaring at her.

When I get to the office the office ladies have this sad look over their face.

"Please tell me one of my pranks didn't kill anyone" I beg in my head

"Hayes.... Um this might be hard for you but um...." she tries to spit out

"What?" I ask dumbfounded

"Your parents.... Got in a car crash" she stutters

"They what!?" I gasp hoping its a joke

"I know it's hard to take in" she says getting up and wrapping me into a hug

At that moment tears spill all over my face

"It's alright dear" she soothes rubbing my back.

The door opens but I don't care if anyone sees me Hayes Grier the rebel crying into the office ladies shirt.

Someone behind me clears their throat causing the office lady to let go of me I sniffle wiping my eyes turning around to see the person I would never expect to see.

Nash.

"Nash?" I whimper surprised to see him

"Yeah it's me I heard about mom and dad" he sighed pulling me into a hug but this time I hugged back letting even more tears spill.

"That's enough" Nash says trying to pull away but I didn't let go he's the only family I have.

He chuckled at me not wanting to let go .

"I'm sorry It's just I guess your the only family member I have left" I sigh wiping some tears.

"It's alright" he says wiping one with his thumb.

"What are you doing here though?" I ask

"Well since you don't have a guardian I have to take you in" he smiles

"I have to live with you?" I gasp

"Yep now go get your stuff from class and I'll take you back home to get your stuff and we will move into my place" he smiles

"Alright" I sigh leaving the office.

I enter the class room with blood shot eyes

The whole class gasps at the sight of Hayes Grier with blood shot eyes.

I suddenly hear whispers about how no one has ever since me cry or never thought Hayes Grier cries even if he got in trouble.

"And why were you at the office?" mrs. Bocay asks

"It's private" I glare moving to my desk with my friends to get my stuff

"Tell me" she says getting up from her spot

"It's non of your business!" I yell

"It is my business my student is leaving to the office" she scoffs

"MY PARENTS DIED IN A CAR CRASH HAPPY!" I scream grabbing my stuff rushing out of the class as all my class mates gasp and a shocked and surprised Mrs Bocay.

I rush to my locker grabbing everything I can see and stuff it into my locker knowing someone will be sent after me.

I rush to the office to see Nash tapping his foot waiting for me.

"Done I see" he smiles

"Yeah" I sigh

"Well let's go to my car" he smiles grabbing my pack back to carry as I follow him outside to his car.
