Chapter 8

Jennie woke up with a heavy hangover. Her head hurts like hell, she smelled horrible and she had no memories from last night. She looked around and realises she was in her own room.

She was till trying to recollect her thoughts when someone twisted her door nob and opened the door. Tae Hyung came in with a glass of water. He smiled and said:

"Good morning"

Jennie smiled and took over the glass of water, she took a sip and asked:

"What happened?"

"You were drunk yesterday, I brought you back" Tae Hyung replied

Jennie frowned, she remembered going to the pub last night but she had no idea what went on.

"How did you know I was there?" Jennie asked

"Jisoo called me" Tae Hyung said

Jennie froze. Jisoo, she was there, why can't Jennie remember? Pieces of memories of Jisoo by her side came back to her mind but she wasn't sure.

"Then?" Jennie asked

"When I got there, she asked me to take you back" Tae Hyung replied

Then it struck Jennie. Jisoo knew, she knew about Tae Hyung. She pushed her to Tae Hyung, Jisoo gave her to Tae Hyung.

Did Jisoo really let her go?

"Is everything alright?" Tae Hyung asked sincerely, he saw the worried in Jennie's eyes

"Yeah" Jennie softly said

She buried her head in her hands and said:

"Tae, I-I'm sorry but I need some time"

"Alone" she added

Tae Hyung stroke her hair and said:

"Hey it's alright, take your time"

"I'll be at the office for the whole day, just call me if you need me" he said

Tae Hyung stood up and was about to leave when Jennie called him:

"Tae!"

Tae Hyung turned back and asked:

"Yes?"

Jennie lifted her head and said:

"Thank you"

Tae Hyung flashed Jennie a smile and said:

"Love you"

Then he left.

Jennie buried her head back to her knees. Little sobs started to escape from her.

'Tae stop being so nice'

'How can I afford to break your heart?' Jennie thought

The first thing Jisoo saw when she woke up was a pair of cold eyes staring at her. Her head was heavy and her throat was a little sore.

"When am I?" Jisoo asked with a hoarse voice

"In my bedroom" Irene said in monotone

"What time is it?" Jisoo asked

"10" Irene said

"It's a little late now, don't you have to go to work? How long have you been staring at me?" Jisoo asked

"I'm on a holiday, since 6 in the morning" Irene replied, still monotoned

Jisoo frowns and asked:

"Why were you up so early?"

"Cause it was the third time you kicked me out from my bed" Irene said, this time with a little anger in her voice
