Ears perked,

Scales of fire,
Black horns of hell,
Wings of shadows,
Tail of might,
Claws sharp like knives,
Be proud,
That saddle around you is there,
For one reason,

Those wings held high in the sky,
Flaming scales,
Ready for flight,

To soar,
High in that big, blue sky
