First Greeting

I was walking down the pathway,

My destination wasn't that far away,

It was early morning by the way,

I was happy for it was a sunny day!

Busy people were passing by,

As I looked up at the blue blue sky,

The birds were flying up up high,

And I drew a deep deep sighed.

Cool breeze caressed my soul,

It reminded me of my goal,

She said 'Don't lose control',

'Being there is your real call'.

I pondered about it for a while,

Not knowing why it made me smile,

I wanted to be strong, not fragile,

She said "Don't worry, you are agile"

The pathway was quite narrow,

I kept walking with no sorrow,

Suddenly, I was greeted with a 'halo'.

It came from this unfamiliar fellow.

I found myself under his umbrella,

Oh my! He was tall like a pillar,

My head asked "Who are you fella?"

Funny, I felt like a Cinderella!

We were walking together,

Dead silence, why would bother?

As long as I got the shelter,

Then, it shouldn't be a big matter.

Left, right and left, right,

Our feet paced so light,

Honestly, he looked so bright,

My head asked "Am I all right?"

I tried to throw a peek,

I wanted to make it quick,

As quick as a single click,

What an old fashion trick!

He wore neat and clean attire,

The dressing I would always desire,

But it didn't mean I was on fire,

Maybe I just started to admire.

I wasn't looking for a boyfriend,

He might already had a girlfriend,

Perhaps someday I could be his friend,

But I knew it wouldn't last till the end.

I caught a glimpse of your stare,

It's too deep I could not bear,

To glance back, I didn't dare,

I was shaky with that glare.

His voice was soft and tender,

I could smell the scent of lavender,

It came from this opposite gender,

Weird, my heart raced like a blender!

No one ever did this to me,

Not even my caring big mommy,

He knew how to treat a lady,

I hope you'd stay like that buddy.

I could see he was very humble,

A man that I shouldn't gamble,

He was cool and quite simple,

However, he had no dimple!

The journey became slow,

We enjoyed the sunrise glow,

The sparrows flew so low,

It made me feel a bit mellow.

I didn't know what to say,

I just felt like spirited away,

For walking like this in pair,

We just met, it's not fair!

Why didn't you say another word?

We're almost at the end of the road,

I wasn't bored, I just felt odd,

Hmm, maybe you were in silent mode.

We finally reached the place,

Sweats rolled down on his face,

But he looked calm not in mess,

Well, I was quite impressed.

He entered the class casually,

I started to think carefully,

Why were you there seriously?

Because that's my class actually.

He introduced himself formally,

That's how I knew things clearly,

It's embarrassing and it's silly,

It flickered on my face obviously.

I hissed about this to my girls,

They grimaced and sent me giggles,

Even so, I decided to remain single,

Love subject, it's hard to handle.

So, how could I forget this thing?

It's still on my mind, lingering,

How I hate this kind of thinking,

Anyway, thanks for your first greeting!
