1914-1918
The great war, triggered by the assassination of the Austrian archduke, Franz Ferdinand and his wife, on 28th June 1914 by Bosnian revolutionary, Gavrilo Princip. It had become harder to hide in woodland, and explosions cleared most of it. I had nowhere to go and it had been a hard time to feed too. The frost of December was not kind and I thought I’d starve to death. I’m immortal and could not therefor die, so it was torture worse than any other.
I stayed low during those years of World War I I’d eat stranded soldiers from time to time or horses that wandered from combat. I’d fall into backgrounds of trees and disappear during the four years of war I stayed under radar and so did other creatures that are boggling to the human mind.
Germany finally lost and the world came back to order, a powerful country fell under.
