Nothing Will Ever Compare

Nothing will ever compare,

To the feel of your fingers in mine.

Nothing is as soft as your hair,

And the way you looked right at me that night.

And you may even try to forget,

My lips just as Ill try to forget yours.

But we've got something irreplaceable,

And I'm too scared to live alone with the scars.

So if you feel alone one night,

And you know that I'll be feeling the same way,

Please don't hesitate to drop on by,

You know you're always welcome to join me.

And I will never forget you dear,

The feel of your lips, your eyes, that smile,

And even though you'll move on and get married to her,

You'll always be mine,

And there's no reason to forget just yet.

No reason to say goodbye,

Just for a few more days,

So I will be in love just a little while longer,

Won't you kiss me one more time,

Tonight.

I'm sat here all alone,

And I know you're doing the same.

Thinking about what we had,

I'm still smiling through the pain.

And if you leave today,

No I won't ever be the same.

Because you made me feel like I was wanted,

And you didn't play the game.

So if you ever decide that I am worth it,

And you love me more than her,

Please don't think for a second,

I love you any less.

And if you wake up one morning,

Wishing I was in your arms.
