How can you let splendid mitosis cease?
The submerged rock needs its plankton.
Cells join with molecules and you let them fall?
Build a sister, a brother, a daughter, a son!
Cling to the base of the unsinkable vessel.
Crawl back to the navigator. Softly take hold
Of its spokes. Ride the great grumbling seas.
Find a shore and grow old.
