Chapter 32

Shai got off of Himeko and they both immediately grabbed their clothes putting them on. Himeko walked up to the door and got out of her room. Shai gulped and walked out of the room following Himeko. Himeko walked downstairs seeing her father
"What is it father?" Himeko asked as she looked up at him
"I have an angry woman on the god damn phone. It's your friend's grandmother" Damon said sternly
"Oh...my grandmother" Shai said and walked up to the woman holding the phone. Shai held the phone and groaned
"Hey grandmother" Shai said
"So...my guess was right. You are wasting time with that Momokino. After what I told you...you still decide to go with that spoiled brat" Her grandmother said sternly
"Don't call her that..." Shai growled
"Just get home immediately" Her grandmother said
"Yes ma'am" Shai said and hanged up
"I have to go Himeko but we'll see each other tomorrow. Bye" Shai said as she smiled
"Bye" Himeko said smiling softly and waved at her. Shai walked out blushing deeply and headed home
We were this close to...doing it
She held her chest and blushed deeply

Meanwhile Himeko had to speak with her parents
"Himeko...haven't we talked about this?" Damon asked
"Yes father" Himeko said as she looked down
"That girl...since when were so close with a Higashi?" Damon asked sternly
"W-well...we aren't that close" Himeko said
"You invited her to the mansion and into your room. Also...those posts online. These pictures about you two.." Damon said
"Those pictures mean nothing. We were just spending time together as friends..." Himeko said
"I hope so...but you know very well what I told you about those Higashi" Damon said sternly
"I know" Himeko said a bit harsh as she looked away
"Hey...don't use that tone on your father" Damon said sternly. Himeko clenched her fists tightly and glared at her father
"Father...maybe the Higashis aren't that bad. Shai isn't like one of them and she doesn't want to be one" Himeko said
"I don't care how that Higashi feels...maybe you're the one feeling something towards her" Damon said as he glared at her. Himeko only stood up from the couch and headed to the stairs
"Himeko!" Damon said. Himeko only ignored him and went back to her room. She walked inside and laid down on her bed. She held her chest tightly and trembled. She blushed deeply as her heart was racing. She started remembering Shai's body amd her kisses. She covered her face and kept trembling
Fuck...I love her so much...I wonder if she's thinking about me now...
While Himeko was think of her, Shai was standing in front of her grandmother who was really pissed off at her
"What did I say about getting close to that Momokino?" Her grandmother asked as she glared at her. Shai only stood there and kept looking at her grandmother
"We are not that close..." Shai said
"Then why were you with her at her place?" Her grandmother asked
"Because we were working..." Shai said
"On what?" Her grandmother asked
"On a project for class. We are partners and we were only working..." Shai said
"Working or...kissing?" Her grandmother asked. Shai's eyes widen and looked down
"Don't think I didn't notice that small mark on your neck. Did that Momokino gave it to you?" Her grandmother asked. Shai looked down and trembled
Shit! She's definitely going to find out! Fuck!
"Gr-grandmother it's not what you think! I'm not into her!" Shai shouted
"Shai I took you in this family to be the next heir to the Higashi family. You will act like a Higashi whether you like it or not. You are the chosen one" Her grandmother said sternly. Shai just looked at her and clenched her fists tightly. She looked beside her seeing a knife. Her body trembled and felt a rush go through her body
'Kill her'
"Shai! Listen to me! You will not see that little Momokino no more! She's no good for you!" Her grandmother said raising her voice
"So what!? I like her okay?! And whether you like it or not...I'm going to date her and marry her one day! You can't tell me what to do!" Shai shouted and glared at her. Her grandmother sighed deeply and looked up at her
"You do know Mr. Momokino killed your father right?" Her grandmother asked
"Wh-what...did you s-say?" Shai asked as she trembled
"There is a reason why I don't want you near those filthy Momokinos..." Her grandmother said
"Wh-what are you saying?" Shai asked
"Back then your father was a pathetic boy. He didn't want to be rich at all or live with me. He lived in the streets like a stray dog. I still never understood why he decided to live that way..." Her grandmother said and sighed. Shai trembled and still couldn't believe what she was saying
H-himeko's father...killed my father?
"L-lies..." Shai mumbled
"Hm?" Her grandmother asked
"Lies! You are a liar!" Shai said raising her voice
"So...you think I'm lying? Well...I'm not done with the story yet. Do you know why Mr. Momokino killed him?" Her grandmother asked
"Why?" Shai asked
"All because your father had a secret affair with his wife. Celeste...your little friend's mother" Her grandmother said. Shai's eyes widen and clenched her fists tightly
Papa wouldn't do that! He would never hurt mama! No! Lies!
Flashback
Shai yawned as she woke up in the middle of the night
"I can't believe you! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Kallen exclaimed
"I didn't! You have to believe me! She is just my friend!" Shailung said
"Oh a friend? Why on earth are you going to see her right now?!" Kallen exclaimed
"Stop being so god damn jealous all the time! I am only helping her out!" Shailung said
"You have a family! She has a family! You should stop leaving Shai alone! Spend some quality time with your family! Isn't your daughter important to you?" Kallen asked
"I do spend time with my family. I love you and Shai. You two are very important to me...it's just that Celeste has helped me so much. We are only friends" Shailung said
"Sometimes I believe that you two are getting closer..." Kallen said as she looked down
"Kallen...look at me" Shailung said as he lifted her head up making her look at him
"I am not cheating on you with anyone. I love you and only you. I love Shai too. You both mean so much to me okay? Please trust me..." Shailung said and kissed her softly. Kallen kissed him back and pulled away. Shai just stood there and had a few tears
"Mama...papa...you two aren't fighting r-right?" Shai asked as she walked up to them
"Of course not" Shailing said
"These things happen between adults. Everything is okay" Kallen said as she walked up to her and kneeled down hugging her
"S-so you two are happy?" Shai asked
"Yep" Shailung said as he smiled brightly and patted her head softly. Shai looked at them and smiled
End Of Flashback
N-no...papa didn't have any affairs with anyone...he never did! Lies!
"These are lies!" Shai shouted
"Well I don't care if you believe me or not. That's not my problem..." Her grandmother said and looked at Shai. Shai just clenched her fists tightly and growled
"Lies..." Shai said
"Fine. Don't believe me if you want to. I just wanted to let you know the truth...now about that Momokino...I hope you stop seeing her" Her grandmother said
"Shut up. You can't tell me what to do and all that stuff about my father...are lies. You are lying..." Shai said
"Believe whatever you want..." Her grandmother said. Shai was followed by her dogs and Shai walked inside her room. She pulled out the picture of her father from the drawer and looked at it. She teared up and trembled as she sat down on the bed. Her dogs whimpered and jumped on the bed with her to comfort her
No...papa...she is just lying...right?

The sun went down and Mei sighed deeply as she finished up the last of the paperwork. She stood up and grabbed her bag
Finally...I'm done with all this work. I can rest now without worrying about work and spend some quality time with my beloved Yuzu...
Mei walked out of the office and headed out of the Academy. Suddenly she saw someone small standing at the entrance. The person turned around and looked at her
"Hi Mei...can we talk?" Sara asked. Mei only glared at her and sighed
"Make it quick. I really don't have time for this..." Mei said sternly
"Right...you're going out with Yuzu and you don't want to leave her alone" Sara said and walked up to Mei
"Just say what you want to say and leave me alone..." Mei said
"This won't take long..." Sara whispered. Mei's eyes widen as Sara pulled her close into a kiss wrapping her arms around her. Mei dropped her bag and grabbed Sara pushing her away then punched her hard on her face breaking her nose
"You fucking bitch! Don't you dare get near me and try kissing me again!" Mei shouted as she glared at her. Sara groaned and started crying while holding her nose
"I-it's just that...I don't get why..." Sara said between sobs
"I'm sorry Sara...but I love Yuzu and I am not going to let you ruin my relationship with her..." Mei said as she kneeled down picking up her bag
"What does she have that I don't?" Sara asked
"Yuzu is special...she is very nice and caring. She cares for other deeply and...every time I pushed her away...she kept coming back. No matter what I did...she kept forcing herself on me and has helped me out a lot. All I ever done to her was...hurt her...hurt her poor heart. I won't do that ever again..." Mei said as she started walking away
"What about your grandfather? Your dream? The Academy? Didn't you say you have to inherit the Academy?" Sara asked. Mei stopped and clenched her fists tightly
"If you keep following your dream and inherit the Academy...you will definitely hurt Yuzu's heart. Not only that...you will lose her forever. You do know that right?" Sara asked. Mei stayed silent for a moment and stared at the sky
"I know that..." Mei said
"So will you keep lying to Yuzu and shatter her heart?" Sara asked as she stood up trembling a bit
"No...I won't let that happen" Mei said
"H-huh? But what will-"
"I don't care what my grandfather says. I am not going to hurt Yuzu anymore. I want...to be like her. I want to be free and strong like her. I am not just going to let him control my life and decisions...I don't want to be a coward anymore. I want to be strong like Yuzu...and even if I hurt my reputation...I will still have Yuzu by my side and my family. So please leave me alone...unless you want to be hit again" Mei said and walked away. Sara just stood there in the dark and sighed as blood dripped from her nose

"Hehe we should really be going already since Nene left too" Yuzu said
"Yeah we should head home. Maybe the Prez is already waiting for you" Harumin said
"Shit! Mei! I completely forgot! Oh I hope she's not home! Ugh! She's going to kill me!" Yuzu said as she started imagining Mei's glare
"Well hurry home" Harumin said
"Okay! Bye Harumin!" Yuzu said as she started running away heading home
"Bye Yuzucchi!" Harumin said. Yuzu ran as fast as she could and panted heavily as she arrived
"Phew...I made it" Yuzu said
"Wait Yuzu" A girl spoke. Yuzu's eyes widen and turned around
"H-huh? Nina? What are you doing here?" Yuzu asked
"I just wanted to ask you about Mei. Do you know where she is?" Nina asked as she smiled which made Yuzu a bit scared
"W-well...I mean she could be home or at the Academy" Yuzu said
"Hehe...what if I told you that she is with Sara right now?" Nina asked. Yuzu's eyes widen and felt her heart stop
"Wh-what the hell did you just say?" Yuzu asked
