The Price of a Friend

WARP!

Yin was teleported back into Bierce's Ballroom

POP!

She opened here eyes, and got back up,

"I'm alive! And I made friends with a Murder Monkey!" Yin said in shock

but then

"OMG! I made friends, with a Murder Monkey!" Yin said cheerfully

She then looked around for Bierce

"Bierce? Hello! I got the next Ring!"

Yin was about to look further,

but then,

"Hello Love."

Yin turned around, and saw Bierce with her arms crossed

"Oh, h-hello Bierce." Yin said meekly

"Do you mind telling me why it took you so long to come here? You didn't get killed, and yet you disappeared, so tell me dear, what happened?"

"Well, um, I was collecting the Soul Shards like you asked, but then a portal spawned infront of me, and took me to Malak's Realm."

Bierce was shocked by this

"What were you doing there?"

"Well, I was there because there was this Murder Monkey, he's unusual, funny, and very nice, and he's my friend!"

"...... HAHAHAHAHA! Oh that's so funny! being friends with a Murder Monkey!?"

Bierce laughed, but then stopped when she saw Yin not laughing

"You weren't kidding, weren't you?"
Bierce asked, deadpanned,

"Well yeah, why would I kid? He's my friend!"

"Dear, have you heard this saying, 'Once a Monster, always a Monster'?"

Yin was conflicted

"Well, yeah, b-but MM is different!"

Bierce deadpanned at her

but then,

SMACK!

Bierce slapped Yin so hard, it sent her to the floor

"Fool, don't you get it? That Monster is just using you!"

Yin was shocked

"Y-yeah?, well you're not my mother! and you can't tell me what to DO!" Yin yelled with tears in her eyes

She got up, and ran into one of the portals

Yin was in the red gap between the Ballroom, and the Monster Realm

She sat against the wall, and slid down, knees up to her chest, and her head tucked away

Yin cried, but then,

"Hold it!" Bierce yelled

WARP!

A portal teleported Yin back to the Ballroom
