Accident

Bryle's POV

"Bryle tumigil ka na nga. Andami mo ng nainom oh! Halika na uuwi na tayo" It was Sophia. My girlfriend's bestfriend

I'm here at the bar. Trying to clear my mind. Nag away kasi kami ni Michelle, girlfriend ko

"Stop all these bullshits Sophia! I'm not yours okay? I have my Michelle now and I have no plans of breaking her heart" That made her shut up

"But Bryle... You already did"

"Sophia please" my phone just rang after I said that

Di ko na tinignan kung sino yung tumawag at agad na sinagot yung tawag

"Bryle! Si Michelle..." It's Jeron. I stood up

"What? May nangyari ba?"

"Sinugod sa hospital!!!"

"Ano!? Sandali papunta na ko" I immediately ran as fast as I can. Sophia even tried asking me what happened but I don't give a damn. It was all her fault after all

I reached the parking and headed to the hospital

Pagka dating ko, naabutan ko si Jeron na nakaupo dito sa parang waiting area at si Keisha na umiiyak sa tabi niya

"What happened?" I asked catching their attention

"Naaksidente siya habang nagda-drive" Jeron answered making my knees shake. I suddenly felt guilty

Napaupo na lang ako sa tabi ni Keisha.

I regret blaming Sophia a while ago. It was all my fault. Everything shouldn't have been done. I should have followed her

Tanginang pride kasi to eh! Kung di ko pinairal pride ko, edi sana di mangyayari to. Napaluha na lang ako habang iniisip ang mga posibilidad na naiiisip ko. Sounds gay but I don't care. She's my Michelle... and I can't afford seeing her getting hurt

"G-guys ano nangyari kay mich? Ayos lang ba siya?" Tanong ni Sophia. Kasama na niya si Rein. Di ko man lang napansin yung presensya nila

"N-na a-aksidente siya habang nagmamaneho. H-hinihintay palang namin yung results" this time, si Keisha na ang sumagot

"Sila tita? Nandito na ba?" Tanong ni Rein. He's referring to Michelle's parents

Keisha just nodded

"Nasan sila?"

"Nasa loob" Umupo na din sila dito sa tabi namin

Maya maya lang lumabas na yung doctor kasunod sila tita kaya lahat kami napatayo

"Doc? Kumusta po si Michelle? Ayos lang po ba siya?"

"Well, she's in a critical condition. Many of her internal organs were damaged because of the impact ng pagka bangga niya sa truck. We can perform a surgical operation naman to fix any damaged organs but her head was severely hit by the truck. Sa ngayon, hindi pa natin alam kung anong epekto nito sa pasyente" Sa ulo? Paano kung... paano kung... ay shit! Hindi pwede!!!
