You may have heard of the fourth witch. The one who is not the seventh daughter of the seventh daughter. She who belongs to no coven and refuses to gather under the full moon. A rebellious witch, whose invite to sinister debaucheries always gets lost in the mail. Not that she would attend such a party anyway. And if she would, she'd most definitely be dressed in all white. Imagine the commotion.
But what about the zero witch? What do you know about her? Once I knew a zero witch. Her name was simple and no norn knew of her existence. The zero witch lived in the town of Brick Corners, she rode a red bicycle and she worked at the post office. Most customers became her friends and she had a small dog named Giuseppe. But everyone called him Juicy. That was due to a copious amount of slobber that he produced. Which, in retrospect, saved the owner of the post office a solid pile of coppers and silvers each newyear.
And so our story begins on the first day of the season of the witch...
