It was a normal day. A normal week. Until Rose received the message. I'm coming for you, it read. You'll all rue the day you defied me. the note was unsigned, but it didn't matter. Rose knew who it was from. She had to tell Nightingale. before he struck and it would be too late. Rose hurried out of her apartment and to her car. She drove as fast as she could to Robin and Nightingale's house. Colm answered the door. "Aunt Wose!" he cried excitedly."Do you want play with me?" he said with a lisp. "Not right now. I have to talk to your parents. maybe later, okay?" just then, Nightingale appeared behind him. she led Rose to the living room. "Rose." Robin greeted her warmly. "can I talk to you for a second?" She asked. "its important." she handed them the note. "He's really out there?" "yes." Rose confirmed. "he is." "we've got to tell the others."
Watching from a distance away, a man smirked. He had them right where he wanted them. Now it was time to start picking them off, one by one.
