The Boy Who Isn't Scared of Anything

There was once a boy,

A fearless boy.

He never had emotions of fear,

Never trembled or quivered or shook from it.

He never knew what it was.

Then came a girl,

The two were close even though they're exact opposites

The girl wanted him to experience things he never did

To live life to the fullest, to be able to feel like a normal human being

So she wanted him to feel fear.

The girl took the boy at an old haunted house and said

'Are you scared yet?'

But the boy said 'no: what is there to be afraid of an old house?'

The girl took him in the cemetery at night even though she was quivering up herself and asked him

'are you scared yet?' still the boy shook his head and said

'no, what is there to be afraid of dead bodies underground?'

Still, the stubborn girl took him in an old abandoned hospital

Where they walked and walked in the darkness as the girl asked

'Are you scared yet?'

But as soon as the boy was about to answer her;

The floor beneath the girl suddenly collapsed making the girl fall in the hole below the ground.

Her screams were drowned by the rest of the floor collapsing now above her.

The boy panicked,

His heartbeat accelerated.

His mind was swirling.

The boy jumped inside and yelped, he searhced for her through and through

Lifted rocks that covered her and

Alas he found the girl lying on the ground.

He hurried to her, lifting the big rock that covered her from harm

Unminding of the bruises in his palms by trying to dig through the rocks to her

He cradled her in his arms with tears in his eyes as the girl touched his face.

'Your heart is beating fast' she spoke

He looked at her with fear in his eyes and spoke.

'Now I'm scared. I'm really scared' he spoke as the girl smiled

'I'll never scare you again' she promised as he lifted her off the ground and walked away

He now knew fear...

He now knew how to tremble, shiver and quiver in fear.

The thought of losing her scared him to death. 

And he'll never want to experience it again.
