After all this time ?

Chapter 1

This is my first story so it isn't very good, I hope you all enjoy it and if you have an feedback please comment it below :)

Let me get you all caught up ...

It's been about three years since we all graduated from High School, Lucas and Zay went back to Texas to be with their families, Farkle went working at his fathers company since he was one day going to take it over, Smackle went to some prestigious university

As for me and Riley, we took at year off where we just looked for universities that we could both study at, I was going to study art and Riley wanted to study teaching like her father.

Just last year I got accepted with a scholarship to the University of North Carolina so of course Riley joined me as well.

We both saved up as much as we could and I took a few shifts at Topanga's with Riles and we made our way over.

It was quite far away and we knew we would miss our families but at least we were together and Riley FaceTimed everyone back home mostly every night.

So that brings me to now, we are in our last year of University and it's going well we had to stay in a sorority house because it was the cheapest place on campus but Riley loves it since there are so many people for her to meet and me not so much, at first at least but it's kind of growing on me.

Anyway back to today ... (Maya POV)

I woke up to one of the girls banging on my bedroom door "WHAT?" I yelled half asleep, there was no answer so I ignored it but they banged on my door again

I sleepily rubbed my eyes and stood up to go and open the door and outside of it was Riley she had a huge smile on her face oh no what is she up to

"Peaches ?" She said smirking

"Yes Riles?" As I answered she moved her hand from behind her back to show me cowgirl boots

Oh no. If she thinks I'm wearing those she's got it all wrong

"What are those ?" I said with a shocked and confused look on my face, Riley's smiled just beamed bigger

"They're for you !" She said walking past me and sitting on my bed, I shut the door and followed sitting next to her on the bed

"So " she continued "I'm taking you to see bull riding and before you say no, Ring Power" She held up her hand in the air

Stupid ring power!

Okay not stupid I love it but not when I have to do things I don't want to, like bull riding.

"Ring Power" I said sulkily putting my hand in the air and holding Riley's hand

Whenever one of us says 'ring power' we have to do what they said its the rules.

I haven't gone to see any type of bull riding since we went to visit Texas with Lucas back in high school

"Why do I have to go Riles ?" I said putting my hand on my lap and letting go of Riley's hand

"You'll see" she said with a smirk

What is this girl up too?

"And wear the boots!" She yelled behind her after she had stood up and left my room.

I groggily stood up rooting through all my clothes for something suitable I had been here a year and I'm still not used to any of the rodeos or clothes

I decided to wear a light blue loose shirt, jeans and a jacket and to be nice since Riley was so excited I put on the boots.

Before I left I quickly curled my hair and did my makeup just a natural look and I was ready to go, great let's see what happens.

Later on ...

Riley, me and some of the other girls in our sorority were going we all walked to sit down after getting ourselves some drinks

We decided to stand near the top since there weren't many seats, as I looked over at Riley it was like she was searching for somebody

"Earth to Riles it's starting " I said tapping her on the shoulder she slightly flinched but then she fixed her eyes on the arena

What is up with her today ?

The announcers walked out calling out each of the riders and that's when I saw him.

Why is he here?

Is that why Riley wanted us to come and watch?

But how would she know he would be here?

So many thoughts ran through my head I didn't know how to react it has been years.
