UP FOR ANY CAPER
My dog has one leg missing
He bounds about on three
So he dosen't have to cock a leg
When he's at a tree
He has no trouble sitting
He has no trouble standing
He jumps to catch a Frisbee
And makes a perfect landing
He still loves to chase his ball
He loves to fetch a stick
And if he ever spots a cat
He's on it double quick
There's really nothing he can't do
He's up for any caper
He just can't cross his legs at night
when he reads the paper
DISGRACE
I wouldn't want to be a Whale
Although I love the sea
and the way they swim in pods
In perfect harmony
I love the way they make a splash
In their leaps and bounds
I love the way they interact
with such melodic sounds
It's also brill that there so large
Yet glide around with grace
but wee wee coming from your head
I think it's a disgrace
TWO THUMBS
Today I met an octopus
I think he's rather dumb
And though he has eight digits
There's no sight of a thumb
So if this dumb old Octopus
Has a certain yen
I'm sure that he would like two thumbs
So he can count to ten
BOOTS
I've never seen a cat in socks
I've never seen a cat in jocks
I've never seen one in a skirt
with a nice matching T-shirt
You don't see Cats taking naps
underneath their baseball caps
the only thing a pussy cat suits
Is when you see that puss in boots
KANGAROOS CAN HOP
Kangeroos can hop
Which is really great
For they don't need ladders
