Pieces

There could be pieces inside me, yes inside
the fire, wind, leaves, flora, morass infused with rain, I am the rain
and the juice from fallen fruit of which only the sun could quench this thirst.

I gaze at the moon and she gazes back with a half smile
as if knowing was all that was needed for her invitation.
Bamboo shoots and broken half crescents sweep shadows where I wonder over,
but to the city I belong to.

There are pieces of me inside of everywhere you go,
the more you walk and look you will know
and how the moon adores these pieces I've left for her body
I know she loves her body well
