My Little Brother (Poem)

Oh my little darling,

You made me feel like your mother,

Even though I am not the one who gave you birth,

But You will always remain My cute sibling.

With your every growing step,

I felt the pleasure of the rhythm your legs created.

With your every enhancing breath,

I could sense the responsibility of being elder than you.

When the first time you opened your eyes,

And gave me that smiling look,

My heart gave it up to you,

To your laughter and sobs.

It was the very day,

When I took the pledge,

That I won’t let anyone touch you,

I would protect you from every storm that comes your way.

With the every ascending day,

I pray to God to let you live in peace,

That I won’t let you die unloved and uncared.

I would not let you feel the loneliness, which I faced.

Just on your 11th birthday,

I wanted to assure you that

I Am Always There For YOU!!!!
