My name is Rosie Newman I'm 19 I live with my abuse parents and I work at the sandy cafe down the road now I got ready for work I got down stairs but me being dumb bumped into my so called dad
"YOU BITCH YOU SHOULD LOOK WHERE YOUR GOING SLUT NOW YOU SPILLED ALL THE COFFEE"he screamed
Oh shit what did I do he pulled me down and kicked me in the stomach and then slapped me and punched me in my jaw and cheek that was slapped again by him then he started to kick me again and he punched my neck
"GET OUT BEFORE YOUR LATE YOU BITCH"he screamed and I ran out running to the cafe and got inside from behind to my manager Selena's office
"Oh my dear did your parents do that again"she asked I nodded wiping my tears then pulled out my foundation from my bag and applying on my face,neck and a little on the bruise on my hand from yesterday
"Hey Rosie you have table 3"Zach said after I got out of the office he works with me I nodded my head and walked to the table
"Hey I'll be your waitress for the day may I know your order"I said and the little girl got up from her chair and hugged my legs
"Yowur prewtty"she said I giggled and picked her up and placed her on my hip ignoring my pain
"Your pretty too what's your name little one"I asked kissing her cheek she giggled and said
"Skylar"she smiled
"What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl"I said and turned to her parents and saw that they were shocked I looked at them confused
" I'm sorry about "I cut her mom of by placing my hand on her shoulder smiling that it's ok
"It's just skylar like hugging people especially waitresses and they push her or ignored her but you did the exact opposite" her dad said
"I would never do that to a child I love them so much"I said remembering my 3 years old sister that dead 1 year ago because of my parents then they ordered and I was about to give skylar to her mom but she didn't want to
"Do you want your milk shake " I said she nodded
"Then wait here so I can go get it" I said and she jumped of my arms and then I got them there order and gave them it after they finished I give them the bill then skylar got out of her seat and came to me I picked her up and kissed her forehead
"I will miss you little one"I said
"Me two"she said and I brushed my nose with hers and she giggled I smiled
"It's time to go now sky"her mom said
"But mommy I don't want to"she whined and I whispered in her ear
"You can come here later and see me here"and she looked at me with widened eyes I giggled then we said goodbye and they got out to their car then I had some more costumers then it's my lunch break I got inside the rest room and I ate lunch with Zach while Amanda and amillio take over I finished then I got inside so Amanda can eat her lunch then amillio cam to me
"Rosie you have table 5 now"he said I nodded and then I got to the table and saw the most feared gang in this country
"H-Hey I'll be your w-waitress for the day m-may I know your o-order"I said looking down and the gang leader looked at me in the eyes with sadness?
"Look at me"he said and I looked at him and they all gasped I looked at them confused
