My friend is sad, so so bad.

I want to cheer, to clap, to tell her it's not coming back

She told me it was heartache, and nothing important at stake

But how do you say 'it's going to be okay?' despite how much it weighs?

She told me he was gorgeous, she told me he was nice

She probably told me all about it twice.

We called him by a letter, a secret between us two

I wanted something to happen so we could scream 'woho!'

She told she would get over him, not let him be her limb

Until a few days ago, I lived in an ignorant bliss

Believed she wished another for her special kiss

Same boy, with love grown.

My friend is back to be sad, so so bad.

How to explain she's not the one to blame?
