HIS - Courtship ....

155 37 42

Courting your lifelike Mirage, dreams blur into thoughts.

Sanity walking the rope precariously, nerves in knots.

Eyes on the cobblestone, aspiration awaiting the real"You".

Come turn into the dreams to my unsettled slumber.

As we fold into one another, in the unruffled night.

My senses tingle to those distinguished steps; your anklets call.

Headed my way, your intent, short from me your weary steps fall.

Held back? Or is it your past? the daunting of unsure haunting?

Come in as the flavor to my intoxicating liquor.

As we stir into each other, of goes the suffering, tipsy.

Looking into your eyes, I witness a flicker in my favor.

Shadowed by hesitant thoughts, your wishes waver.

Give us a chance. Strangling our hopes isn't cruel?

Come be the bonkers to my cheerful madness.

Lets weave a realm unscathed by your sadness.

Stranded on an Earth with no absolute seasons.

My hope a pipe-dream with dwindling reasons.

When our hands met briefly, I know you felt it too.

Come be the lost traveler to my alluring trail.

We'll build a house on the hill, will be a fine tale.

Countless have stumbled before, in adulation and on its road.

Few reach the Faerie Land, the rest damned souls with no abode.

Ecstatic by your assent to join, my vigor has grown wings.

Come be the Wendy to my Peter Pan, hold on tight.

The Neverland in springtime, has no cause for fright.

A Verdant-valley along the surge, as you incarnate into a river.

A Barren-wasteland I am, when you change course and falter.

Spanning the directions of my realm, You rule over it.

Come be the water to my thirst, waiting to be quenched

My thoughts occupy your mind, in you I have entrenched.

A "Random Stranger" no more, your presence does matter.

Your face so enchanting in my hold, my heart's in a flutter.

Hesitantly I kiss those tired lids to your eyes, let them rest.

Let's make most of the infant night, as we go along.

After all, My Darling! I have known you for so Long.
