Chapter 1: escape

(Long chapter)
In a world where dust that holds magical like ability's and people that are born with essentially superpowers, you would think that everyone would be living a life of adventure and amazement but you be mistaken for there are evil forces the threaten all of life as we know it, creatures that roam the earth made for the sole purpose of hunting down people to devour, it has made life on remnant much more difficult to thrive but within time human and faunus have developed new technologies and formed communities to combat these evil creatures now we live in a time filled with happiness and love but this is not a reality for all.

(yang is 8 you are 7 and ruby is 6)
In a forest on patch there lies a house and in that house there is a dark room and inside that room lies a cold and bloody child named (Y/n)

(Y/n):*sob* "ow" *sob* at the moment I'm sitting on a couple of blankets that act as my bed while I'm trying to clean up my fresh wounds.

(Y/n): (thoughts) you see my "father" Tai xiao long just got done beating me for something my sisters did naturally they blamed it on me, either my "dad" is dumb enough to fall for their lies or he just wants another excuse to beat me, the beatings started when I was 5 years old the abuse started with simple slaps whenever I said something dumb or did something dumb but it got worst over time my sisters blaming me was something that started last year.

Tai: "(Y/N)!!! GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!!"

(Y/n):"oh no... what did I do this time"
I got up and started to limp my way to the kitchen, when I got there I saw everyone at the dinner table looking at me with pissed off looks

Raven: "why isn't dinner ready?!?!"

(Y/n):(scared) "o-oh i-I'm so sorry I was j-just cleaning my self up b-because I d-didn't want any of m-my blood in your f-food again" She then gets up from her chair and walks over to me and by this point I'm shaking because I know what's going to come next
*SLAP* *SHOVE*
Raven: "STOP SHAKING SO DAMN MUCH YOU LOOK EVEN MORE PATHETIC LIKE THAT!!!"

Yang: "well more pathetic then you usually do" *hahaha*

(Y/n):(shacking and crying) "s-sorry I-I'll t-try" *sob*

Crow: "oh look now she's crying"

By this point everyone is out of there chair and walking closer to me

Tai: "you need to be taught a lesson that way next time you learn to clear up faster and get dinner started"

Then they started to beat me to a bloody pulp
*punch*
*kick*
*scratch*
*throw*

When they first started to beat me I always asked myself why they did this to me but over time I've heard them talk about me and heard some of the things they've said to me from what I gathered summer my biological "mother" cheated on Tai with a mouse faunus they knew since beacon after Tai found out about me my biological father "disappeared" after that Tai wanted to get a divorce with summer but stayed with her because of someone named ozpin when I was born everyone treated me nice and I was happy but then ruby was born a year later and at first they just grew more distant but eventually that lead to me being beaten on a daily basis, from what I know Tai hates me because every time he looks at me its a reminder of what summer did to him and summer hates me because she doesn't feel any motherly love for me all she feels from me is shame over something that wasn't my fault, raven and crow hate me because they view me as the reason why their family is torn apart, yang hates me because of the things Tai has told her and ruby hates me because... well I don't know why if I had to guess why it's probably because she thinks it the right thing to do.

Actually speaking of ruby I haven't seen her in awhile ... then ruby walked in holding a knife and she had a sick and twisted smile on her face

(Y/n):(thoughts) oh oum no she wouldn't use that on m-me right right?!?!
As ruby got closer the rest of the family saw her and knew what she was going to do so they decided to help her by pining you down.. we'll Tai and yang did, the rest steeped back to see if she would actually go that far

Ruby: "hey sis do you know what I'm going to do with this knife" she got on her knees near your head and put the knife near your mouse ear.

(Y/n): *eyes widen* "n-no ruby p-please don't t-take t-them p-please"

Ruby: "I'm not going to cut them at the bases I'm going to make sure you suffer a little more *sigh* no I'm going to take them little by little, piece by piece until there's no more of them you rat."

(Y/n):"RUBY PLEASE NOOOO!!! PLEASE!!!" by this point your heart is beating faster then you ever thought was possible

And then at the corner of your mouse ear you feel it

You feel the blade of the knife get pushed into your ear slowly by this point you screaming your lungs out but ruby doesn't stop she keeps going until she cut a piece of your ear off she picks it up and hold it proudly like a trophy
And she shows it to tai

Ruby: "look daddy look!"

Tai: "whoa sweetie thats so cool huh!"

Yang:" I wanna try can I go next!"

Meanwhile the rest of the family had looks of horror and shock they couldn't believe what ruby had just done
But the one taking it the worst was summer she had tears in her eyes after what she just saw her precious ruby had just cut of a piece of HER other daughter HER poor sweet (Y/n) but then she saw ruby pick up the knife again an was ready to take another piece off summer wanted to stop her but was frozen she told her self over and over again to stop this and save her little girl but her body wouldn't move

But then summer looked into (Y/n)'s silver eyes the eyes that were the same as her very own eyes and she snapped out of it she ran and quickly took the knife away from ruby

Ruby: "mom why'd you take away the knife?"

By now every one is starting at her and tai is starting at her with hatred so she had to come up with something quick

Summer: "I was just thinking that...we should go get dinner at a restaurant since it getting a little late we should go get food before they all close".

Ruby:"aww but I wanna teach this freak a lesson".

It hurt summer to hear her say those things about (Y/n)

Summer:" you can continue tomorrow"

Ruby:"aww ok"

*kick*
Ruby:"your lucky I'm hungry!"

Then one by one every one left the house and headed towards the car summer being the last to leave but as she was leaving she looked back at you as what she saw broke her heart even more

There you were on the ground lying in the fetal position with blood oozing out of you ear and tear dropping on the floor but your eyes are what hurt summer the most when she look at them she saw them they look vacant and lifeless

Summer: (thoughts) oh oum I need to talk to them about this we can't keep doing this to her not anymore...I just hope they'll listen

And then she left

(Y/n):"I *sniff* I can't take it anymore i-i need to get away from here I need to leave"

I then got up and grabbed a duffle bag and stuffed it with everything I might need and I took summers money from her purse that she forgot and I headed out

The second I felt the cold breeze of the night wind I shivered but I knew I had to leave I had to or else I would die there and so I left I followed the tire tracks to a main road and already in the distance I could see lights from a town

(Y/n):"well here we go it not like I got anything to lose"

(A/n): And that's where I end it for tonight it's like 1 in the morning so I'm gonna end it here I'll do a 1.5 chapter in the morning until then goodbye.
