Ode to Rain
When the sky gets dark
And begins to fade,
The sun does not come out to play
From this you know its coming.
It looks like pebbles fall from the sky
It sounds like rocks are being thrown at your house
Sometimes it feels rough, other times it feels smooth on your skin
Sometimes it hurts, and other times it feels good on your skin
It comes mostly in the Spring.
It makes the flowers bloom again.
It makes the fruits and vegetables ripe to the core,
And it helps the grass become as green as the shell of a turtle
When the clouds are done crying,
The sun comes back out to play!
It leaves the flowers bloomed. the fruits and vegetables ripe, and the grass green
It is Rain! The joy that gives us the beautiful creations that are shown in the spring.
