Queen Rosario's POV

Silently my guards and I walked across the bridge, the guards asleep from the help of one of our Snow Flower concoctions. In fact, my red lips were pulled into a smirk as I walked ahead of my people, my blue eyes staring at the sleeping guards in amusement. Such easy Prey for a dangerous Beast.

They should be asking for anothers help, since they can't even protect their multiple outposts around Mirkwood. I paused at the large doors before I raised my right hand up and my Snow Bear's moved forward before they forced the door's open. Then we all moved inside, eyes flickering around the structures carved by Elven hands centuries ago.

"Who are you?!"

I ignored the Elven tongue and twirled my finger, a Snow Bear jumped and shoved him away from our path. My feet barely touched the floor as I walked through the Throne room. Entering it I watched the man sitting upon the throne room jumped to his feet.

"Who dares-"

"You requested my Presence, King of Mirkwood?" I questioned, my guards silently fanning out behind me, lining the walls with a bear between every two guard.

He stared down at me for a moment before he moved down the stairs, his clothes dragging down the stairs as I watched him with a raised brow. "You're Queen Rosario of Aerthus?" He questioned when he reached the bottom, his hands behind his back while we eyed one another as opponents.

"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't. I was told I should personally meet a potential ally before an agreement is made."

"I received news that you would not accept an alliance with Mirkwood."

"Silver tongues can change a stubborn mind." I replied, moving forwards as I slightly looked up at him. "And the Silver Tongue made me travel all this way to watch your guards sleep with a simple concoction from my personal garden. Such a weakening sight for a potential Ally, you think not?"

". . .My guards?" His eyes hardened even more than before as we stared at one another.

"Asleep, not sickened or heartless, asleep. They'll wake in a number of days, do not worry." I dismissed his angry expression with a wave of my hand. "Now, shall we talk about our Kingdom's?"

"Privately." He says stiffly, glaring down at me before his eyes went around the room. "But, you all must be so tired from your travels. My own Messenger was practically dead when he reached the edge of the forests that surround Mirkwood. He was lucky my Son was travelling near by to save his life."

"Well, it's not like it was your son on the brink of death now, was it?" I stuck my nose up at him. "It seems you much rather another's life before your blood. Is an Alliance between Aerthus and Mirkwood really what you desire for the security of your people? Or just your throne and heir?"

My voice was loud in the throne room, my lips and face refusing to make an emotional gesture to the Mirkwood King.

"I have you know I could-"

"Could what? Put your only potential Alliance to death? Go ahead, I'd love to watch you with no touch or breath and see your last breath pass your lips. You need to understand, King of Mirkwood, this Alliance of our Kingdom's could give my people some extravagant valuables that they could not have possibly without your Alliance. But it is not critical for it to be made, after all, your messenger was the first alive being we've seen in our Kingdom, other than the animals, in a very long time."

I walked around the King of Mirkwood, eyeing him up and down with my own (specially made for this very occasion) gown dragged slightly behind me. The Elf male intrigued me, none of my Kingdom's males had white hair like mine, or his golden hair. That and his chest was puffed out, which highly amused me.
