I was lying with Jeff in our shared bed. He suddenly starts to whimper quietly. I look up at my boyfriend.
"Jeff?" I whisper.
"Hey, Jeff. Wake up." I gently shake him. His eyes snap open and he looks at me. He whimpers and burries his face into my shirt. I pet his hair gently.
"Hey, hey. It's okay Jeff. I promise." He whimpers again. We sat in silence, aside ftom Jeff's whimpering, until he decided to break it.
".. Hey Ben..?" He asks.
"Yes, love?" I reply and look down at him.
"I love you......" He says quietly.
"I love you too, Jeffrey Woods." He smiles and gives me a kiss. I happily kiss back. He pulls away and we lie down.
"Don't forget Jeff, I'm right here if you need me okay?" He nods.
"Okay.." He says. He lies his head on top of my chest. We fall asleep, cuddled against each other happily. Jeff didn't have anymore nightmares that night.
