I watch the shadows dance agaisnt the wall,
Matching the tempo of the rain,
The cold stone floor agaisnt my feet,
I feel the blood but savour the pain.
To love someone is like a drug,
It kills you slowly each single day,
And no matter how hard you might try,
It will never go away.
You stand before me so mighty and proud,
Both knowing what is soon to come,
All the fighting and rejection...
My heart grows cold,My legs go numb.
The thunder cracks through the roof,
I feel my back pressed against the wall,
As fingers crawl down my thighs,
Knowing that I'm under your thrall.
Years of suppressing,
My anger, His Rage,
Now it all comes together,
In this stone fitted cage.
The sounds of our breathing,
Filling the room,
And the sound of my heart
Screaming softly In tune.
As daylight fades behind the clouds,
From the suffering of our groans,
He whispers silently through my soul,,
"Do you know how it feels, to be always Alone?"
