Can you ever really forgive
So the words "I forgive you"
Hold any weight
There's a burden
A weight
Can you forgive hate
Cruelty
Unforgiving words
If I forgive you
Its not for you
Its for me
For the self-love that I deserve
That you tried to take
If I forgave you
Its not for the hate you create
If I say "I forgive you"
What I'm trying to say is
I forgive me
