A New Life  

Chapter Two: Game ON

The rest of the morning went pretty well. Some people were nice others looked like they wanted to rip my throat out.... Ill have to remember them for when the movie comes out so i can pick out the posers. Its lunch now and i have to go talk to the coaches. I walk into the sports department to here people talking. There was a group of guys that looked like football player and maybe a few soccer player, then there was about 6 coaches also in the group. I stepped into the room and they all looked at me. "hi, im new and would like to sign up for some sports". "Ohh look its a cheer leader, well you can come back later these are the big kid sports". I could now see the whole group and my brother was sitting in the back talking to a few guys but hadnt noticed me. "if these are the big kid sports what are you doing here, kids get hurt playing sports you might want to leave before you start crying and need your mommy" i replied with a sweet smile on my face. That had gotten my brothers attention and now they were all looking at me. " I need the soccer and basketball coaches" i stated. a women and man stood up both looking like they were in their mid twenties. " that is us" " i would like to sign up, my name is Skyler James" i then turned to the guy who thought it would be a good idea to be a smart ass to me " remember that name cause in a week your going to be kissing my feet:". I saw a smirk cross my brothers face because he knew what i was talking about. I turned to walk out and heard "soccer practice right after school on the field dont be late.....oh and we are training with the guys so be prepared" i turned around look right up to the jerk and said"perfect looking right at him"  

The rest of the day went fast. i actually had fun...in school....i kno its amazing. I ran out of my last period and got changed into shorts that went down to my knuckles, a sports bra, and a sweat shirt. I saw my brother in the hall way with two water bottles. i got his attention pointed to the water bottle waiting for him to throw it over to me then ran off to the field with it in my hand. when i go to the field i saw a handful of girls dressed like me and the rest had more covered. i ran to the bench took my sweatshirt off and put my water bottle by it. Coach called me over to the other girls as the guys came out and started warm ups. "skylar what position?" "midfield" "great thats exactly what we needed, depending how you do today you may be starting" " warm up all of you then its a guys vs girls game". We ran off and started our warm ups.  

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** The game was almost over and at the moment it was a 0-0. The guys were coming down the field. The ass whole from b4 had the ball. When he got close enough i watched his feet and stole the ball. The girls were cheering and running after me as i weaved through the guys. No one could stop me i ran up to the goal kicked the ball up in the air then turned around and did a back flip shooting the ball straight for the goal. I turned around just to see the goalie miss the ball and it go into the net. All the girls cheered while the guys stared with their mouths open. All at one the girls said " closes you mouths you never know what will find its way into their..and your drooling by the way" We all looked at each other a cracked up laughing. During the rest of the practice while the guys were being drilled we all talked and i got to know the girls. They were all cool and we instantly became friends.  

I could see jack ass looking at me so i stood up and said " i'll be right back" I walked up to him. "hey" "hi" ......................"i never got your name and calling you jack ass is getting old" "its Drew,..........umm....nice shot" " ok how much are you getting paid to do this or did the team force you :]" "$25 and they are making me" by now both of my brothers were on the field talking with the guys. " ill pay you $40 if you walk back to them team looking like you are going to cry and then pants my brothers" "HELL NO im am not getting my ass kicked" "So i was right" "about..." "this is a sport for big kids and you should have left when you could and gone back to your mommy crying" "no way....ight your on" He satrted walking back and i ran to the girls. i explained what was goin to happen and we all watched patiently.  

1.....2................3............4......5 "WAT THE HELL DUDE" We all cracked up laughing at my brothers' boxers. I bet you can guess what they are wearing.....yup Spongebob for tommy and patrick for Jason. I popped out my iphone and took a few pics and a video of the whole thing. "BY THE WAY I GOT IT ON VIDEO, SAY HELLO TO EVERYONE WHO HAS A FACEBOOK.....AND AFTER NEXT WEEEK WHO KNOWS HOW MANY MORE!!!!" i screamed. I saw there faces go from confusion to anger. "SKYLAR!!!!!!!" i turned to the girls and quickly screamed "RUNNNNNNNNN"
