I woke up feeling very energetic. Today is a new day. I put on my uniform, I look good today. I feel good too. For the first time a few days I felt like myself again. I gathered my things and bolted to school. (Noted deku is still gonna break her bones we ain't gonna buff her up just cause she a girl smh)

I sat in my class and begin to daydream of the good old days..

Me and Bakugo having fun together. He was so adorable as a kid :) I miss those days, hopefully we can restart. Even though he apologized I feel like everything will still be the same. Funny isn't it? I've been dreaming of that day. It's here but I don't feel different or atleast in the way I wanted. Every time I see his face my heart races. I don't want this. I just wanted my best friend back

"Izu. Snap the fuck out of it" Bakugo said

"Huh? Oh said Kacchan.. sorry I was in my own world there heh" I say chuckling

"cute." He whispers

"Hm what was that?" I say blushing cause I obviously heard him

"Nothing geez." He replied with a small smirk

"Shut up! I covered my face and layer my head down on the table.

"Oh cmon don't be that way I'm only joking" he said laughing

"It's not funny katsuki!" I yelled with tears coming out of my eyes

Bakugo's POV

My name just rolls off her tongue it's so pretty.. I gently wiped her tears away and I was about to kiss her when those damn extras walked in. I mentally rolled my eyes no I'm joking I actually did.

Kirishima came up to when I walked back to my desk.

"Hey bro I saw you touch her face what were you two up to while nobody was here? I never knew Bakugo was such a perv!" He dramatically said

"It wasn't like that AND SAY THAT AGAIN AND ILL SHOVE MY FIST INTO YOUR STOMACH!"

"Ok ok geez take a joke" he said while laughing his ass off on the floor.

Time skip to after class

Midoriya's POV

"Hey Deku let's walk to lunch together." Bakugo said

I recalled what he said to my mom and I instantly blush

"Eh?" I screeched

"Let's go." He grabbed my arm and we started walking before I could reply

His hands are so soft.. I grab them back and eventually wasn't slightly behind him and was holding his hand next to him

I shot him a smile and for a second I swear I saw THE katsuki bakugo blush.

I noticed where we were walking. the opposite direction to the cafeteria

"Hey ka-" I began

"How do you feel about me." He said

"What do you mean?" I replied

"I wanna ask if you... like me." He said.

"I-um I - omg" I just began incoherently mumbling and I started blushing

"Just tell me.." he said snapping me out of it

"I... do.. please don't hurt me.." I said

"DAMNIT DEKU. You have no idea how it hurts. Knowing how I've hurt you. The last thing I wanna do is hurt you again. I wanna protect you. I wanna make you smile like the old days. I wanna be your protector again.." he said almost crying

"Katsuki.." I pulled his face up and we slowly inches closer. He grabbed my waist and pulled my into a gentle kiss. We ended it and I put my forehead against his. "You've always been my protector." I gave him a angelic smile and watched him turn crimson red "Let's go to lunch now" I grabbed his hand and we began our walk. Things were gonna be different now and that's ok.
