As we walk hand in hand through the gates I suddenly feel like I was back home
*Flashback*
"Come on dad" I say pulling him through the gates
"Hang ok we have to buy tickets first" he says putting me up on his shoulders and laughing
After we get tickets he asks me what kind of ride we want to go on fist and me being the 8 year old I was said the tilt a whirl
After the ride we went on more rides and then got a bunch of food
"THIS IS AS BIG AS ME!" I say holding the fried dough as my dad laughs
"It sure is kiddo" he says with that same smile he always has had
*end of flashback*
"Casee!" Colby says shaking me
"Huh what!? Uh" I say snapping back into reality as Colby laughs
"It's cute to see you flustered" He says and I start blushing "what do you want to do first"
"That one!" I say pointing to the tilt a whirl
"Let's do it" Colby says dragging me by the wrist over there
"2 tickets" The guy says holding out his hand as Colby places two tickets in the guy's hand and drags me to the car
*AFFER*
"Damn" I say laughing as Colby acts as if he is about to throw up
"I think I'm gonna- AHHHHH!" He says running up to me and grabbing me from behind and lifting me up in the air
"Let me down!" I say laughing as he drops me
"Where to next" He says
"The bears!" I say as Colby gives me a blank look
"Come on!" I say grabbing him by the wrist and dragging him to the bears
"I don't wanna do the bears" He says fake scoffing and crossing his arms and looking away (if anyone know what video that is from you are qualified to be my best friend)
"I'll protect you" I say grabbing his hand and pulling him into the bears
*after*
"Ok the bears weren't that bad" he says dragging out the That
"I told you I would protect you" I saw walking in front of him and flexing
"And that you did" he says putting his arm around my Shoulder "Wanna do games now?" He says excitedly
"Ya" I say as we try to find the balloon game
"5 darts for 7 dollars and 3 for 5" the girl says at the booth
"5 for 7" he says pulling out a 5 and two ones "what do you want" Colby says looking at the prizes
"Well that one looks pretty adorable" I day pointing to the giant stitch on the ceiling

"What one" He says as he aims the dart
"Purple" he throws at Purple and it pops "Green" I say again as he pops another, "blue", "yellow"
"Last one" He says
"Red" I say as he throws it and pops the last one
"What one" the girl says pointing to the giant stuffies
"Stitch" Colby says and hands me the stitch
"Thank you" we both say and walk away
"Now what" I ask
"Well you can't go to a fair and not get lemonade" he says
"Oh my god you're right" I say as we find a lemonade stand
"Two please" Colby says as I look off into space
"Here you go"
"Thank you" I say grabbing the glass from Colby
"There is one last thing I want to do" He says taking me to the Ferris wheel
"Let's go" I say as we get on the cart
We go around for a while before getting stuck on the top
"Look at the view" I say glancing over the water
"There's one view I worry about" Colby says making me turn around
We both start to lean in and before you know it we kiss. It's not like any kiss I have ever had before this one made me feel different inside
"Damn" He says
"I know right" I say laughing as I put my head on his shoulder and we start moving
"I feel like every time we have tried to kiss we have been interrupted... usually by someone in the house"
"You're not wrong" I say getting off of the Ferris wheel
"Wanna go home now" he says
"Yes I would" I say grabbing his hand
As soon as we start driving home I post a picture on insta
