Complications

A Note

So I know what you’re all thinking- another student teacher romance, yadayadayada. I know some of you hate student teacher romances, and I have to say that two months ago I was completely on your side, until I read ‘A Proscriptive Relationship’ (and ‘A Surreptitious Relationship’) by XxSkater2Girl16xX, and then ‘The Perfect Summer Had to End Sometime’ by DazedAndConfused and finally ‘Queen of Spades’ by Trewest.

Those four novels have completely changed my opinion of student/teacher romance novels- because really, it’s all about the forbidden love, the secrets, the hiding and stolen kisses, and most people get a kick out of that. Not that I still don’t think it’s wrong, but fiction novels are just that-fiction. If every book was about our everyday lives, normal situations, then books wouldn’t be an escape- they’d just be a continuation of real life. And I’m one to say that my life isn’t exactly all that exciting and I would never want to read about it, and I enjoy reading something that I know would probably never happen in a million years.

Not that books have to be all about impossible things, I’ve read some amazing books that are definitely be true to life, and I’m going to give a shout out to Maddie Grey here so go check that girl out because damn she can write, and you can definitely connect well to her books. http://www.wattpad.com/user/MaddieGrey. She was the first person I ever read online a few years ago (on booksie) and really due to that she’s basically one of the reasons I started to post online.

But anyway, this novel is going to have drama, it’s going to have a completely mad and over the top situation to begin with, it’s going to have a romance between a teacher and a student and its going to have ludicrous situations and its going to have a little bit of action and danger but I can tell you this- I will not scrimp on any character development because of it and I will not put out something with a few swoon worthy moments at the expense of my grammar being shoddy.

So I really do hope you read this, but I’m not going to force anyone to like student teacher romance novels. But just know that I absolutely loathed them, I literally felt queasy even seeing some of them when looking at the What’s Hot list, but a few stories which were either really well written or had a complete twist to the plot changed my opinion, so if you want to, go read the stories I pointed out earlier

Sorry for the rant :P and I hope you give this story a go. Or at least try one chapter; if you don’t like it I’m not going to hold it against you.
