I glare at itachi before he could say anthing and he gets the message
"nice to meet you Naruto, so where are we going?" Itachi asks us
"not sure, Onee-chan wanted to take me shopping" Naruto says quieter than his usual self
itachi simply nods and we begin walking into the village. Naruto walks closer to me than before almost attached to me.
I look at all the villagers we walk past and each one is glaring at Naruto.
I grab his hand and we walk into a clothes shop
"ah welcome...." the lady starts
"what are doing in here?!?!" the lady says almost hissing
Naruto tries to run out but I hold his hand tighter
"do have a problem?" I ask giving off a power vibe
"that thing isn't welcome here" the lady says
itachi walks infront of Naruto and I says simply
"if you have a problem with him, then you have a problem with the Uchiha and Nara clan"
the lady deflates and shakes in fear or anger
"no no I don't" the lady says
"good then we will be shopping here" I say walking around itachi with Naruto in tow
"wow that lady got scared of you" Naruto says
"hmmm" itachi says
I grab a bunch of clothes and hold them up to Naruto to see if they would fit and most of them did. they were mostly plain colours like white,black,grey and brown
"eh onee-chan" Naruto says tugging my shirt pointing to a brightly organge coloured clothes
"you like thoses?" I ask
"yea.." Naruto says walking to them
"hmmm alright go ahead and pick some then" I tell him.
Naruto walks over and grabs 2 sweaters and three pants.
he walks back to me and gives them to me.
"alright I think we have enough clothes, lets go get shoes" I say walking to the other side of the store.
"do you want ninja shoes?" I ask
he nods and looks the different coloured shoes
he grabs a blue pair and I nod approving.
"will they fit?" I ask
Naruto places one on the ground and places his foot beside it
"hmmm maybe a size smaller" I tell him
he grabs one size small "they'll fit" he tells me
"ok grab another pair" I tell him
we walk to the front to pay
"ne do you need boxers?" itachi asks
Naruto nods "itachi go grab 2 packs for him" I tell itachi
itachi silently goes and grabs them well the lady adds up the price.
the lady glares at Naruto the entire time she was checking everything out,
"alright Naruto lets go to your place, I have to get ready for my mission." I tell him
he nods quietly and leads us to his house.
I glance at itachi silently worried about Naruto.
"ill come and visit you right after my mission, ok? we can go for ramen" I tell him
"ok thank you one-chan" Naruto says showing a small smile.
we walk for a bit until I look around and see we're in the bad part of the village.
I grab Naruto and place him in the middle of me and Itachi.
once we get to his place I see how shabby his house is. Theres many words written across his walls, many words such as monster, or sentences saying he should die...
I felt my eyes fill with tears.
'Naruto doesn't deserve this' I think as we walk inside
Naruto leads me to his room and I notice how empty it is, and messy.
I see bugs crawl around in empty instant ramen and up and down his walls and counters.
I cringe and look at itachi to see he has the same face as me.
I make a mental note to fix up the place once I get back.
"ok Naruto as soon as I get back I'll come as see you" I tell him hugging him softly
Naruto holds onto my shirt not wanting to let go
"its ok Naruto... Itachi will take care of you" I tell him.
he finally lets go of me looking up at me with teary eyes
I pat his head softly not wanting to leave, but knowing I had too.
Naruto softly closes the door after Itachi and I are out.
"look after him ya?" I ask Itachi
itachi nods and we go our separate ways, I head home and start packing.
I pack for a week long mission not knowing how long my team and I are going to be.
after I finish packing, I go downstairs to see if my mom and brother are home but they aren't.
but they aren't, I grab some paper and a pencil and write a quick note for my mom to see.
I place it on the table and grab my backpack and head to villages front gates to meet my team.
I wait for about 5 minutes when genko appears.
"hey Rin" he says not looking up from his book.
"hi" I say boredly
we see a flash of yellow and I know its sensei
"hey sensei" I say glancing at him
"no haru?" sensei says
"not yet" I tell him
"heyyyy Rin, Genko, Sensei" we hear Harus voice as he races towards us.
"alright lets get going" sensei says walking out the village with us speed walking to keep up.
"It'll take 4 days to reach kiri" sensei says going into a light jog
we stay silent and keep up, we keep switching from jogging into sprinting and back into jogging and so forth until it had been about 7 hours, it was now dusk and we were all tired.
"lets find a hotel and rest for tonight" sensei tells us
we all nod panting tiredly.
it takes us about 30 minutes to find a hotel in a small town we had come across.
sensei books 1 room with 4 beds for the night.
"whos hungry?" sensei asks
we all nod still too tired to talk.
"ill go and get some food then, you guys rest and shower" sensei says leaving
"how is he not tired" haru says flopping onto his bed.
"hes the yellow flash, hes use to running for hours... maybe days on end" I tell him grabbing clean clothes from my pack
haru doesn't reply, so I look at him and see him passed out with his mouth wide open
I smile softly and look at genko to see him also sleeping but in a proper way.
I go in the bathroom and start my shower.
