The purge Anarchy

Chapter 1

All we want to do I stay alive. But thanks to our founding fathers that's hard to do on one night for 12 hours. Today is June 20th approximately 2 hours till the commencement. I was at work at the diner and could tell that it wasn't busy. It never is on the day of the purge. One customer said that they were purging tonight, but I couldn't here the rest of their plan. My boss Molly said "ok everyone be safe tonight and stay alive." Every one left and, so I started walking down the street and then 2 guys cut me off and pushed me aside and asked if I needed any backup tonight to keep safe, so I pushed them away and kept walking. got to the fence of the apartment and saw Diego and asked if I was purging tonight and I said" Does it look like I purge, I have to keep Cali safe... purging if only for assholes like you" and I kept walking. I looked back and saw that Diego looked kind of pissed at me but I wasn't in the mood. I walk the ought the door and drop my stuff in the table. I see Cali at the table she asks " How was your day?" I said "Good and busy". she had no comment. I said " Go get papa". She got up and left.
