"Alois~!" I giggle loudly, pouncing on my brother. "What is it Anny?" I pout at his annoyed tone. "Play with me!" His face perks up when he hears my offer. "Okay~!" He grabs my hand and we run into the gardens and Alois decides that we should play hide-and-seek.
"1,2,3,4...." Alois' voice becomes faint as I run farther. I don't even hear his voice anymore as I hide in a meadow of blue flowers and giggle to myself. I'm not sure about what type of flower it is but it could be named after that flower Alois' brother loved so much, his actual brother.
Alois and I know everything about each other. Crumbling dead leaves are heard as I notice someone else has entered my hiding place. "Come out, come out, wherever you are Anny~." I hear Alois coo. I say nothing, picking up some flowers.
Thing is, if I see a lot of blue, I fall into a weird trance. I end up trying to pull as much blue as I can towards myself. This time, I ended up picking flowers and sticking them into my dress. "A-Anny?" I hear his voice but I don't even look up as I continue trying to get a bunch of flowers as close as I can.
"Anny! Stop it!" Alois pulls me away from the flowers, knocking me out of my trance. "A-Alois? Wh-What happened?" I ask in a daze. "We're sitting in a meadow of bluebells." He answers shakily and I quickly knock back into reality, hugging him tightly.
"I'm sorry Alois, I hadn't known." I whisper while he sobs into my hair. Soon enough, he calms down and pulls me out of the meadow. "I don't want to play anymore." He mumbles and I let him lead me back to the room that we share.
"Go to bed, I'm tired." I don't protest, knowing he doesn't want to be alone for even a moment. Nor do I, so I snuggle up to his chest. "Brother?" He looks down to me, the dim light only illuminating our faces as we gaze at each other.
"Yes, little sister?" He asks quietly. "What are we going to do next?" I question in a whisper. "I don't know, I just don't know." He mumbles in my ear and hugs me closer. We both fall asleep in each other's arms, him humming my favorite lullaby.
