Sam had been up for hours. His heart breaking every time he replayed the situation in his head. He'd made a decision. Out of all the years he'd spent with the originals he'd figured out who he wanted to spend eternity with. Even though the decision broke his heart, it was one he had to make. Sam sat in the mansion, his leg bouncing up and down as anxiousness consumed him. "You're really doing this aren't you love?" Sam's head snapped up to see Klaus and Elijah walking into the mansion. "I'm afraid so." Sam sighed, rubbing his hands on his jeans before standing up. "I love you both, you know that don't you?" Sam asked softly. The originals smiled, staring down the boy. "Of course we do Samuel." Elijah chuckled softly. Sam nodded, his heart breaking as he stepped up to the brothers. "Elijah, I love you so much," Sam took a shaky breath as Elijah gave him a soft smile. "I just don't think my ending is with you." Sam whispered, feeling like he lost a part of himself. Elijah sighed, taking a step closer to Sam and resting a hand on the side of his cheek. The original kissed the boy's forehead slowly, taking his time as he pulled back. "I love you Samuel Gilbert. And I wish you nothing but happiness, even if it isn't with me." Elijah whispered as a sad smile took over Sam's face. Elijah turned to Niklaus, placing a hand on his brothers shoulder. "Congratulations Niklaus, don't screw it up." The blonde laughed as Elijah made his way out of the mansion. Klaus smiled taking Sam's face in his hands and kissing him slowly. "You chose me." Klaus whispered with a smile, running his thumb over Sam's cheek lightly. The Gilbert smiled, his hand holding onto Klaus's wrist. "I'll always chose you."
