Wilted Petals

Growing, once seeds of deceit

The feeling grows and blooms

Your voice like rainy afternoons

Quenching this violent thirst

Waiting through days and dreams

Seating roots deep in betrayal

Trunk scarred by nights of silence

Blossoming in cold air and cunning

Fingers, like vines around you

The last bitter kiss goodnight

And you fall like wilted petals on the floor
