T | Whenever the time comes
I | And I can't bring myself to fall asleep
C | I become afraid.
K | Not of the dark.
| Not of the ghosts.
T | But of time.
I | The longer I am conscious
C | The longer I am left powerless to my thoughts
K | And what they might bring me.
| Like a ticking time bomb that keeps on testing me.
T | With every tick
I | The anxiety builds —
C | Will it ever explode?
K | Or will it keep on taunting me and keep me in fear?
