The Horse in the Prince's Stables

She's cursed to remain as a horse for the rest of her life. Her coat is colored black for her mother's transgression. Only for one hour every night her human self can shed the mane and the hooves. The only way to break this curse is to find someone who will fall in love with her. Kaelyn had always had her heart set on the wonderful and handsome prince Philip, but he doesn't even know she really exists. Nobody pays any attention to a palace horse.
When the two of them are captured by common horse thieves, it is up to Kaelyn to bring Philip safely back home. It's a long journey, and they have many miles to cover. Perhaps prince Philip will discover that his horse "Aurora" is more than she appears?

I read this story a long LONG while back, and I feel guilty because I sort of forgot about it. It wasn't until recently when I saw it and remembered it. I was like "I have got to share this!". This story, when I first started reading, had me intrigued because it sort of reminded me of what I wanted to happen when I read Black Beauty. I wanted Black Beauty to turn human... I don't know, I was expecting it to happen. But it didn't, so I guess when I read this novel it sort of had me giddy because it was the sort of plot I could have never come up with. And I loved it, and fell in love with it. The plot, the characters... everything. I really do recommend this story for people out there looking for something different, yet spicy and good. I'm sure this story won't disappoint on romance either... that's what mainly drew me in. I'm a sucker for anything with romance.
