I had a long author's note going on a thank you spiel written and posted from a year ago when I finished this but I came back and deleted it because I need you guys to understand that this was a very unhealthy relationship, and I wrote it with that intention. Do not romanticize it, please. And if you ever, ever find yourself feeling like the main character does in these bits and pieces of my story, please distance yourself from the relationship, and get out if possible. I'll come back and update this again with links and numbers to call so that you can talk to people and get help because I'm on mobile right now.
What my main character and Autumn had was very bad for both of them, and the ending was something that could have been avoided. Don't see it as some epic love story, because it's not. It's bitter and angry and full of pain and I don't want any of you to have to go through that. This story was (albeit unintentionally at the time) based off of my experiences with a few different people in my life. If I managed to be so hurt because of these small experiences, I would loathe for even my worst enemy to go through something similar, or, god forbid, worse.
If you ever need to talk to anyone, me or other people are here for you. I love you guys. Stay safe.
