Flight Of The Seagulls

We’ve flown the past together

Through every dark filled cloud.

We’ve raked up all our memories

And shared them out aloud.

We’ve cried just like the seagulls

Through rain clouds to the sun

And kept our wings in motion

Though seldom was it fun.

But now we fly the present

With future in our souls

Time on wing to carry us

To reach our destined goals.

The wind was strong which carried me

To meet you in the sky

The winds grow even stronger now

I do not know just why.

My wing span is the thought of you

My wings they beat in time

Your heart it sings, I watch your wings

They almost beat with mine.

Someday we may fly perfectly

And master any weather

Through lonely sky to destiny

In harmony together.
