Somewhere New is an extended play by 5 Seconds of Summer.
It includes one song from first EP Unplugged and one song from their debut studio album '5 Seconds of Summer', their first single Out of My Limit, this song was made available on the Target edition of the album.
The EP was released on December 7, 2012 through Capitol Records.
Contains the first set of professionally recorded songs by the boys.
Throughout late November and early December 2012, the band teased artwork, and revealed their first proper music video, for the song Out of My Limit.
They launched Out of My Limit by playing a special hometown show at the Metro Theatre in Sydney.
Calum Hood has the most writing credits on this EP, contributing to all four songs. Followed closely by Luke Hemmings, with three writing credits.
