chapter 9

its been a few days since the whole Krang ordeal. since then ive spent more time at the turtles lair than my own home with April. which wasnt that big of a deal since we didnt exactly spend much time together. me and Mikey would goof off from time to time, I didnt goof off with him when it meant getting in trouble. me and Leo spared from time to time as well, he even gave me meditation lessons, which was fun and boring. fun because then I got to hear all kinds if things I didnt know I could hear, boring because I had to sit still for so long and do nothing. me and Raph would train together to help me get stronger. The most fun i have is with Donnie though. mostly because we like the same stuff, and I was right about the watch thing. he was the one that invented it, or well, made it

I dont think of myself as that creative to invent or make things that I think up. I'd rather do problems and make experiments than invent. and no dont get me wrong, inventing is fun, its just, its not my cup of tea is how I would say it

I was on the guys couch reading a book when Donnie taps my legs. i move my book and look at him confused

"can I sit down?" he just smiled and asked politely. I gave a smile back and moved my legs to were i was on my side and my legs was tucked in near me. Donnie tapped my legs again and I looked at him once more wondering what he else he wanted. "you can lay your legs on my lap, ill just be on my laptop" he was holding his device up so I could put my legs on his lap. I accepted the offer and layed on my legs back again with my legs resting on his lap. I felt his laptop get placed on my legs and the laptops heat from the bottom of it like normal devices

Leo was training, Raph was punching a punching bag, and Mikey, he was messing around with Donnie's drone again. I did find it funny how whenever he insulted the drone it attacked him making him yelp in pain. which on cue Mikey yelped in pain from the drone making me giggle

"whats funny?" Donnie looked at me and I just shrugged answering him

"just funny when Mikey yelps in pain from your drone after insulting it" I had a big smile on my face because Mikey still hasnt learned his lesson from the times the drone hurt him

"it is quite funny, huh" Donnie watches as Mikey gets hit by the drone again making him fall

"yes, yes it is" chuckling. Donnie kept at his computer and decided to get up and get a snack. I moved my legs to let him up. he came back had only one package of Pop-Tarts. as I looked back at my book when I saw a Pop-Tart in my face. looking at Donnie he already answered me before I even asked

"here. its for you" he was smiling still. god I could never get over that adorable smile of his. and yes it did make my heart melt, which ill never admit to, knowing how stubborn I am. I accepted the Pop-Tart and open my mouth and bite on it, but not to hard to make it break in half, but for me to be able to hold it in my mouth

"thanks" I mumbled with the food in my mouth. not noticing the blush on Donnie's face he just gave a 'no problem' back

after a few hours Donnie went back to his desk and I decided to go out and get some fresh air after finishing my book and being down in the lair for so long. dont get me wrong. the place is great, but I do need fresh air once and awhile

I got out of the manhole cover after lifting the lid to get out. I climbed up a building to sit on the roof. it was very calming up here. I always tend to clear my mind and get my emotions out. mostly because im to scared to say them to the person in their face

sucking in some air I start to sing a song I love because it reminds me of me when it comes to feelings (play the song below)
